The Ivory Pinion is a small but mighty book. I enjoyed the descriptions that the words held. It was like reading an old friend. If you are a lover of Fables and Folklore, you will love how this book is written and reads.

The Ivory Pinion is a vary descriptive book and the words seem to hold intention. Often times I caught myself stopping to consider what I just read and its not very often a book can make me do that. I absolutely love the lore and myth of Kitsune.
I do wish the author took a bit more time incorporating the backstory so that it didn't live the average reader wondering. The other tidbit was I wish some of the chapters were longer. Sometimes I, the reader wanted more. Just a bit more story, a bit more script, some of those delicious descriptors.
I do highly recommend this book to give you a short read of a great legend based story. Its also a great insight into another culture, done with taste and grace.

I was given an ARC copy of The Ivory Pinion to read for an unbiased and truthful review.
